23 witnesses were recorded in the Sana Yousaf case, and a state attorney was chosen.

The murder case of TikTok star Sana Yousaf has made more progress at a court meeting where 23 witnesses have given their statements.

The case was heard by Additional District and Sessions Judge Muhammad Afzal Majoka.

During the case, Prosecutor Raja Naveed Hussain Kyani spoke to the court about his worries about the trial’s delays.

Raja Naveed Hussain Kyani, the prosecutor, told the court that the defense had not previously questioned witnesses, which was slowing down the case. He said that, as ordered by the High Court, there had been very little cross-examination at the last meeting.

Since the defense lawyer wasn’t there, the court chose Tariq Khan, a state counsel, to defend the accused.

One witness was cross-examined by the state’s lawyer during the most recent meeting. The father of Sana Yousaf also gave an account in court, which was also recorded.

The prosecution told the court that statements from 23 witnesses had been recorded and that more witnesses would likely show up at the next meeting.

The case was put off until March 18, 2026, so more work could be done on it.
