3,117 persons killed in recent protests in Iran: Ambassador Reza Amiri

On Thursday, Iranian Ambassador to Pakistan Reza Amiri-Moqaddam stated that during the recent protests in Iran, 3,117 individuals were murdered in violent situations, and 690 terrorists were neutralised.

During a briefing for journalists in Islamabad, Ambassador Reza Amiri stated that the violence resulted in the destruction of 305 ambulances and buses, as well as 24 petrol stations. He stated that 700 shops, 300 residences, and 750 banks were also targeted.

He additionally asserted that aggressive mobs obliterated 414 government edifices and 749 police stations, while 120 healthcare facilities, 200 educational institutions, and 350 mosques were also assaulted.

Reza Amiri Moghadam asserted that Iran does not seek conflict but affirms its right to self-defence against any external invasion.
