590 students from Pakistan who got stuck in Kyrgyzstan came back to Peshawar.

Early on Wednesday morning, Bacha Khan Airport in Peshawar saw the safe landing of a special airplane that carried 290 Pakistani students who were stuck in Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan.

The first of four special flights intended to return students from Bishkek to the province was carried out by the administration of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

At the airport, parents and other family members who had traveled far to welcome the returning students gave them a hearty welcome. Members of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government, such as Adviser Mashal Afridi and Minister for Higher Education Meena Khan Afridi, were also there and conveyed their happiness and relief at the students’ safe homecoming.

In an airport press conference, Minister Meena Afridi underlined the government’s dedication to safeguarding the welfare of its nationals living overseas. “The students in Kyrgyzstan will not be left alone in difficult times,” said she. “The provincial government is dedicated to bringing our children home safely.”

A second special flight from Bishkek carrying about 200 students made it safely to Peshawar later that day. To greet the Pakistani students, the PDMA DG, provincial ministers, and other high-ranking officials were at the airport.

A sizable contingent of the students’ parents gathered at the airport to greet their loved ones. Along with increased listing of Pakistani students stranded in Kyrgyzstan, the PDMA is also offering transportation services to the new arrivals.

In order to guarantee that all Pakistani students who are stuck in Kyrgyzstan can return home, the administration of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has scheduled four special aircraft.

Parents conveyed their appreciation to the province administration for the prompt action. With floods of happiness running down her face, a parent exclaimed, “We are so relieved to have our children back home.” “We are thankful to everyone involved in making this happen.”

According to airport reports, a second evacuation aircraft from Bishkek touched down at Multan International Airport with 170 passengers and 6 crew members on board. The returning pupils were greeted by OPF and airport officials.

In addition, 23 students received transportation services from the OPF to travel beyond the city and refreshments.

A group of 179 male and female students from Pakistan arrived back in Lahore from Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, safely on Tuesday. The Overseas Pakistanis Foundation (OPF) officers and personnel cordially welcomed them upon their arrival.

347 more students from Kyrgyzstan have arrived in Islamabad. A private plane carrying 180 of them touched down in Islamabad at 5:30 a.m., and another plane carrying 167 more kids arrived at the airport. This raises the total to 810 pupils who have returned to Islamabad on five different aircraft.

According to news sources, a mob attack on international students by locals in Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan, on May 18 reportedly injured scores of students, including 14 Pakistanis.

Hundreds of irate townspeople reportedly destroyed windows and glass, looted foreign medical students’ dorms, and caused other property damage. Several female students as well as students from Bangladesh, Egypt, and India suffered horrendous treatment.
