The president and prime minister talk about forming a new government in AJK.

President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif met Thursday to talk about forming a new administration in Azad Jammu and Kashmir.

Sources claim that the meeting was held at the Presidency, or Aiwan-e-Sadr. Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, Rana Sanaullah, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, the head of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), former Prime Minister Raja Pervaiz Ashraf, Senator Sherry Rehman, and Syed Naveed Qamar were also present at the meeting.

The participants talked about issues pertaining to Azad Jammu and Kashmir’s (AJK) internal transition, the future power-sharing arrangement between coalition partners, and the nation’s general political climate.

In addition, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif gave the President an update on a number of political and governmental issues and told him about his recent trip to Saudi Arabia. The tension between Pakistan and Afghanistan was also thoroughly examined during the summit.
