Trade is still halted, but the Torkham border will reopen for Afghan refugees.

Today, Afghan nationals will be able to return through the Torkham border crossing.
According to Bilal Shahid Rao, Deputy Commissioner Khyber, immigration and customs personnel were summoned at 7 a.m. Tensions between Pakistan and Afghanistan have resulted in the closure of the Torkham border to all travel since October 20. It will stay closed for bilateral trade, though.
The decision to reopen the Pakistan-Afghanistan borders for trade would be decided later, according to remarks made yesterday by Attaullah Tarar, the Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting.
