Naqvi says that the two biggest infrastructure projects in Islamabad would start in December.

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has said that the T-Chowk Flyover and the Shaheen Chowk Underpass, two big construction projects in Islamabad, will be accessible to the public in early December 2025.
Minister Naqvi visited both sites and looked at the construction work that was already going on. He was happy with how things were moving. The Member of Engineering at the Capital Development Authority (CDA) told him about the progress of the two big infrastructure projects.
Naqvi stressed how important it is to keep excellent standards in the building work and said that the projects should not be slowed down or made worse. He made it plain that the speed and quality of the work must be kept up at all costs.
Naqvi added that 60% of the work on the T-Chowk Flyover project is now done and that the flyover should be open to traffic in early December. This project would make the trip from GT Road to Islamabad signal-free, which will greatly enhance traffic flow and reduce congestion.
“This project will be a big step toward easing the travel problems of citizens. Naqvi said, “The government must make it a priority to ease traffic and make it easier for people to get to work.”
Naqvi also gave precise directions about the Shaheen Chowk Underpass, saying that the project should be finished in the next 30 days and that work should continue around the clock. He highlighted how important it was to finish the project fast, especially to make things easier for people at busy times like school and traffic.
Naqvi remarked, “The Shaheen Chowk Underpass will be a modern development project that will set a new standard for the city’s traffic and commuting facilities.” The project is projected to greatly improve traffic management and the city’s overall infrastructure.
