Emphasis placed on bolstering Pakistan-US economic relations

Rizwan Saeed Sheikh, Pakistan’s Ambassador to the United States, has underscored the necessity of enhancing economic cooperation between Islamabad and Washington.

During the opening ceremony of the Pakistan-US Business Conference and Expo in Virginia, Ambassador Sheikh emphasised the necessity of adopting business strategies that are compatible with the US market. He observed that robust trade links constituted the cornerstone of enduring Pakistan-US relations.

He stated that diplomacy generated opportunities, but it was the responsibility of the business community to capitalise on them.

Members of the Pakistani community, investors, and business executives convened at the event to deliberate on prospects for bilateral investment, trade, and collaboration.
