PM Shehbaz highlights the importance of Pakistan-Iran collaboration for world peace.

Iran and Pakistan have pledged to cooperate for world peace and the unity of the Muslim Ummah, according to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
During his meeting with Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, who traveled to Islamabad today with a delegation, Premier Shehbaz made these statements.
In addition to extending a hearty welcome to the group, the prime minister emphasized the long-standing goodwill between Pakistan and the friendly country of Iran. He restated both nations’ dedication to using communication and diplomacy to settle international conflicts.
Shehbaz Sharif also expressed his admiration for President Masoud Pazeshkian and Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, the Supreme Leader of Iran. Both countries have always stood by each other against unilateral aggression, he said, and they both vehemently denounce state-sponsored terrorism.
The Prime Minister underlined Pakistan and Iran’s commitment to advancing regional peace, prosperity, and constructive collaboration while highlighting their common experience as victims of terrorism. He said that Pakistan is keen to further cooperation in areas of shared interest, such as bilateral trade and economic development.
In his remarks, Speaker Ghalibaf thanked the Prime Minister, the administration, and the people of Pakistan for their support during the recent battle between Iran and Israel, especially the 12-day war, stating that Iran really appreciates this help. He underlined Iran’s commitment to strengthening bilateral economic and trade relations, reaffirmed the significance of Muslim Ummah unity and world peace, and commended the close collaboration between the two nations’ parliaments.
The Iranian team appreciated Pakistan for their hospitality during their visit and sent President Masoud Pazeshkian’s kind respects. Speaker of the National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq and Syed Tariq Fatemi, the Prime Minister’s Special Assistant on Foreign Affairs, also attended the meeting.
