PM Shehbaz departs for Baku to take part in the ceremonies of Azerbaijan’s victory day.

In order to take part in the celebrations in Baku on the fifth anniversary of Victory Day, Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif traveled to Azerbaijan for two days.

Ilham Aliyev, the president of Azerbaijan, has invited him to visit Baku.

The Prime Minister will meet with President Ilham Aliyev and take part in the official Victory Day festivities while there.

Reviewing the whole range of bilateral relations and finding new ways to strengthen collaboration in a variety of areas, including as trade and investment, energy, defense, education, and regional connectivity, will be the main topics of discussion.

Long-standing fraternal ties between Pakistan and Azerbaijan are based on mutual trust, shared history, faith, and culture.

Additionally, the two nations continue to work closely together in regional and global fora, such as the United Nations, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, and the Economic Cooperation Organization.

The prime minister’s visit will strengthen the strategic alliance between the two friendly countries and reiterate Pakistan’s unwavering support for Azerbaijan’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
