The KP Chief Minister’s comments against security troops are condemned by Naqvi.

Mohsin Naqvi, the federal interior minister, severely denounced the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s (KP) “provocative and inflammatory” comments against Pakistan’s security forces on Friday, calling them unacceptable and without merit.
In a forceful statement, Naqvi claimed that the Chief Minister’s remarks were “factually incorrect” and insulted the courageous men and women who have sacrificed their lives to ensure the peace and security of the nation. He claimed that no patriotic individual could say such things about the valiant leaders and soldiers who have given their all for the country.
“The entire nation and the international community recognize the unparalleled sacrifices of Pakistan’s armed forces in restoring peace and stability,” the Interior Minister said, accusing the KP Chief Minister of trying to “please the eternal enemy” with his words.
“The Chief Minister has gone beyond all bounds of gratitude in the province where the greatest number of security personnel have accepted martyrdom,” Naqvi said. Given the region’s history of significant sacrifices made by military and law enforcement officers, he said the remarks were particularly hurtful.
Naqvi emphasized that such rhetoric only serves to lower the spirit of people who continue to protect Pakistan against terrorism and external dangers, and he urged the Chief Minister to take back his statement and apologize to the country.
“We should be proud of the sacrifices made by our security forces,” he stated. “The Chief Minister needs to acknowledge the seriousness of his remarks and offer the country an unqualified apology.”
