Punjab begins offering graduates a Chief Minister IT Internship Program.

The Chief Minister IT Internship Program was formally launched by the Punjab government to give recent graduates in computer science and IT practical training and financial assistance.

Graduates of the program would get a monthly stipend of Rs 50,000 in addition to a five-month internship. The initiative will place interns in top software companies to expose them to contemporary technology and provide them skills relevant to the market. Additionally, participants will have the chance to pick the brains of professionals and experts in the field.

Residents of Punjab who have earned a four-year degree in computer science or information technology are eligible to apply online at cmitinterns.punjab.gov.pk.

The provincial administration wants to make Punjab the center of information technology, according to Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif. According to her, the Nawaz Sharif IT City is a revolutionary project that would create new opportunities for the province’s economy to flourish.
