The Peace Jirga convened by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa administration is scheduled for today.

Mir Sarfraz Bugti, the Chief Minister of Balochistan, vehemently condemned the suicide attack in Islamabad on Tuesday, asserting that the targeting of innocent individuals is an unforgivable crime.
Sarfraz Bugti his sincere condolences to the relatives of the deceased and hoped for the swift recovery of the injured. He asserted that terrorists are adversaries of Pakistan, devoid of religion or any rationale, and that antagonistic nations seek to undermine peace in Pakistan; nonetheless, the nation would reply with solidarity and determination.
He asserted that the Pakistani country is courageous, dignified, and united, and that the adversary’s schemes will be thwarted. The sacrifice of the martyrs will not be in vain, and the terrorists will be held accountable by legal means and the application of force.
The Chief Minister of Balochistan expressed complete sympathy with the federal government and law enforcement forces, urging the population to cooperate fully with authorities to uphold peace and security.
The Peace Jirga, convened by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa administration, will take place today (Wednesday) at the KP Assembly Hall. The assembly will be presided over by Chief Minister Sohail Afridi and Speaker Babar Saleem Swati.
Earlier today, a parliamentary delegation from Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), including KP Assembly Speaker Babar Saleem Swati and National Assembly members Junaid Akbar, Asad Qaiser, Mehmood Shah, among others, convened with Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Faisal Karim Kundi.
The PTI delegation officially invited the Governor to attend the provincial assembly’s Peace Jirga, asserting that his presence and leadership, as the constitutional leader of the province, would be a source of pride and a stride towards unification for the province’s peace, development, and prosperity.
Governor Faisal Karim Kundi affirmed his attendance, stating that he regards it as an honor to convene with the province government and all political parties in the Peace Jirga. He asserted that his endorsement of the province’s peace and development will consistently align with the provincial government.
