Governor KP is invited to attend the Peace Jirga by the PTI delegation.

On Tuesday, a team from the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) paid Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi a visit at the Governor House and formally invited him to attend the next Peace Jirga, which will take place in the Provincial Assembly.

Speaker of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly Babar Saleem Swati, former Speaker of the National Assembly Asad Qaiser, National Assembly Members Mehboob Shah and Junaid Akbar, and other PTI officials were among the delegation.

According to the delegation members, the project would be strengthened and made proud by the governor’s presence and direction as the constitutional leader of the province.

The group underlined, “We want to move forward together for the peace, progress, and prosperity of the province.”

The group was told by Governor Faisal Karim Kundi that he would fully participate in the Peace Jirga and that it would be an honor to work with the province government and all political parties for peace.

“I will always cooperate with the provincial government for the peace and general development of the province,” he declared.

The governor praised the province government and speaker of the provincial assembly for taking the initiative to call the Peace Jirga, calling it a timely and constructive move.

Governor Kundi reiterated that the current state of affairs necessitates cooperation and group efforts in order to go forward, saying, “As the representative of the federation, I am determined to work together with all political parties for the rights and welfare of the province.”
