On November 14, KP Chief Minister Sohail Afridi calls the first provincial cabinet meeting.

The first meeting of the provincial cabinet has been summoned by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi, and the formal agenda has been made public.

The November 14 meeting is expected to be the first official session that CM Sohail Afridi has convened since taking office, according to sources.

Ten ministers, one special assistant, and two advisers have been invited to the meeting, according to official sources. The recently conducted Peace Jirga’s proclamation is anticipated to receive formal cabinet approval.

A proposal to raise toll rates on the Swat Expressway by 20% and the approval of replacing 25 official vehicles for district and session judges are two of the main items on the 53-point agenda.

A number of the KP Assembly’s resolutions will also be put up for implementation. The meeting will also endorse the “One Farmer, One Cow” project, which aims to enhance agriculture and the rural economy, and explore easing the ban on the KP Governor’s Office purchasing VIP vehicles.

To speed up recovery efforts in the impacted areas, approval of special monies to assist in the rehabilitation of displaced people from Tirah and North Waziristan is also anticipated.

Additionally on the agenda is the provision of a bulletproof vehicle for a bench of the Peshawar High Court (PHC). In addition to reviewing departmental performance reports, CM Afridi is anticipated to announce new directives aimed at improving governance and accelerating development projects throughout the province.
