The 27th Amendment satisfies the late Benazir’s demand for constitutional courts: Punjab Governor

The 27th Constitutional Amendment, according to Punjab Governor Sardar Saleem Haider on Friday, satisfies the late Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto’s demand for constitutional courts.

Sardar Saleem Haider, the governor of Punjab, stated in a statement that judges do not speak for themselves; rather, their rulings do. The nation cannot operate when judges turn into politicians. He claimed that although the goal of the 26th Constitutional Amendment was to create constitutional courts, constitutional benches were instead established.

He added that the courts spend the majority of their time interpreting the Constitution. The creation of constitutional courts is now anticipated to assist in resolving litigants’ challenges under the 27th Amendment.
