With Rs 90 billion, the “Asan Karobar” plan for Punjab SMEs enters its second phase.

Chaudhry Shafay Hussain, Punjab’s Minister of Trade and Industry, stated that the program was crucial in advancing small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs), and that the second phase had begun after the first phase’s success.
According to the Minister, loans in the scheme’s first phase range from Rs 1 million to Rs 30 million.
Additionally, the Asan Karobar Export Finance is offering SMEs interest-free loans totalling Rs 50 million.
“The measure will increase business activity in the province and prove to be a vital milestone for strengthening the SMEs sector,” Chaudhry Shafay Hussain stated.
The Minister earlier chaired a meeting wherein the execution of ongoing development projects under the programs of the Punjab Small Industries Corporation was thoroughly examined.
The second phase of the “Asan Karobar Finance Scheme” was also discussed at the meeting.
The Minister was informed by the Punjab Small Industries Corporation’s Managing Director (MD) on the organization’s current development initiatives and funding plans.
