On December 4, the government holds the first session of the 11th NFC Award.

The 11th National Finance Commission (NFC) Award was established three months ago, and its first session is set for December 4. Additionally, a notification has been sent in this regard.
All four provinces have been invited to the meeting by the Ministry of Finance. The NFC’s inaugural meeting will be chaired by Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb, the Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue.
Sources claim that the IMF will support the new NFC Award as well. Members of the Technocrat Commission and the finance ministers of each of the four provinces will take part.
Attendance at the meeting is open to all NFC members. The meeting will be attended by Musharraf Rasool from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Nasir Mehmood Khosa from Punjab, Farmanullah from Balochistan, and Asad Saeed from Sindh.
Sources claim that the agenda includes a review of sub-group formation and recommendations regarding the award. Additionally, a plan of action for upcoming meetings will be developed.
The federal finance secretary will act as the commission’s official expert, according to sources in the Finance Ministry.
