A terrorist attack on a peace committee office in a Bannu neighborhood resulted in seven fatalities and one injury.

According to police, the terrorists targeted Qari Jaleel, the head of the peace committee, at his office.

They claimed that although an inquiry into the occurrence has been started, all bodies and injured people have been transferred to District Headquarters Hospital.

Danish, Kamran, Waliullah, Sufyan, Muhammad Niaz, Noman, and Sufyan have been identified as the victims.

Twenty-three Indian-sponsored militants were killed by security forces in two different encounters in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Kurram area the day before.
