The Pakistan Navy tests an indigenous missile that can strike targets on land and at sea.

An indigenously produced ship-launched Anti-Ship Ballistic Missile (ASBM) that can hit land and sea targets with extreme precision was successfully tested in flight by the Pakistan Navy on Tuesday.
The test revealed the missile’s cutting-edge technological capabilities and operational preparedness.
The Chief of Naval Staff (CNS), as well as key scientists and engineers working on the project, closely monitored the flight experiment. The successful test demonstrates the Navy’s dedication to defending national interests and Pakistan’s developing defence capabilities.
Because of its design, the missile can engage a variety of targets while combining speed and precision to improve coastal and maritime defence. The change is a result of continuous attempts to improve domestic defences and lessen dependency on foreign technology.
The President, Prime Minister, Chief of Joint Staff Committee (CJCSC), and other chiefs of armed forces congratulated the accomplishment. The project’s units and scientists received special recognition for their commitment and technical know-how in achieving this milestone.
According to experts, the test’s success underlines Pakistan’s commitment to creating high-precision, modern defence systems and strengthens its strategic capabilities. Additionally, the flight trial improves the Pakistan Navy’s operational preparedness for scenarios involving both marine and littoral warfare.
