Punjab’s special education student food program is launched by Maryam Nawaz.

On Thursday, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif launched an initiative to provide meals to special education kids.
Speaking at the Lahore inauguration ceremony, the Chief Minister declared that God has endowed gifted children with extraordinary ability and that they are “our heroes.” Recalling her pledge to create Centres of Excellence for exceptional children in every district, she commended the whole staff of the exceptional Education Department. She went on to say that Sania Ashiq had quickly made this fantasy a reality.
According to Maryam Nawaz, Punjab currently has 303 special education-focused institutions, all of which will undergo comprehensive reconstruction. Additionally, 28 districts have completed Centres of Excellence for exceptional children.
“As Chief Minister, it is my responsibility to serve mothers of special children, so they don’t need to thank me,” she stated. She praised the bravery of their parents and pointed out that special children bring blessings to their households.
According to the chief minister, the state is in charge of meeting all of the needs of its people, including basic food expenses, agriculture, healthcare, education, and sanitation. According to her, although some may view the chief minister’s position as ceremonial, “no office carries a greater responsibility.” She went on to say that a high position without service turns into a burden.
Punjab has started a school lunch program throughout the province, according to Maryam Nawaz, who also stated that she intends to contact every home to identify any special needs so that they can be enrolled in government schools.
She added that CCTV-monitored buses will be supplied to every school. There are already sixty buses here. “Special children don’t become a burden on their parents when they are in the right environment,” she remarked. Between 70,000 and 75,000 people with disabilities are receiving Himmat Cards from the government, and thousands of exceptional youngsters will also get them.
Earlier, the Chief Minister rang a bell to formally launch the special education meal program and posed for pictures with the kids.
