Naqvi ordered a crackdown on visa agents who deceive citizens by promising them jobs.

Mohsin Naqvi, the interior minister, claimed on Saturday that the agent mafia was destroying the nation’s prestige and tampering with the future of innocent people because of their avarice.
He issued a warning that agents who used fraudulent employment promises to entice individuals overseas would not be tolerated.
Naqvi spent almost two hours making an unexpected visit to Islamabad International Airport. He examined the immigration procedure, the number of employees, and the problems that travellers encountered. He also talked to and heard the complaints and experiences of outbound travellers throughout the tour.
In response to a passenger’s November 7 complaint about inadequate immigration personnel, the minister ordered an immediate investigation and directed officials to carefully review the CCTV footage. He promised that there would be no more complaints of this nature.
He urged immigration agents to refrain from arresting travellers who have legitimate travel credentials needlessly, but he also underlined that people who travel illegally or with forged documents damage the nation’s reputation, which would not be allowed.
Naqvi ordered a tough crackdown on the visa agent mafia, claiming that these agents defraud innocent people by luring them with fictitious overseas job offers. He went on to say that such dishonest agents would not be given any leeway and that travel without valid documentation would not be permitted.
In order to protect Pakistan’s reputation and the confidence of tourists, the interior minister gave pertinent agencies stern instructions to improve the airport’s immigration system’s effectiveness, transparency, and passenger-friendliness.
