Today, PPP nationwide events commemorate the 58th Foundation Day.

With plans to host a major demonstration in the Korangi area and district-level celebrations throughout the nation, the Pakistan Peoples Party is prepared to celebrate its 58th Foundation Day on Sunday (today).

On November 30, 1967, the Pakistan People Party was established in Lahore. The first chairman of the party was chosen to be Zulfikar Ali Bhutto. Raising the slogan “Roti, Kabra, and Makan,” the PPP won a landslide victory in the 1970 general elections in West Pakistan.

In its 58 years in politics, the PPP has had numerous highs and lows. During the administrations of Gen. Zia and Gen. Musharraf, the party had significant challenges. The PPP’s account also includes significant accomplishments including the adoption of a united constitution, the establishment of the nuclear program, and province autonomy.

According to Minister and PPP Karachi Division President Saeed Ghani, the PPP’s formation gave the average person the chance to get involved in politics.

Prior to that, capitalists and landlords controlled politics. There will be a lavish celebration on the foundation day,” he declared.

According to Barrister Murtaza Wahab, the Sindh government’s spokesperson and the mayor of Karachi, the Pakistan Peoples Party has a solid rapport with the populace and will do so in the future.

The rally preparations in Korangi are in full swing. In several parts of the city, party flags have been raised. The event will be addressed by Bilawal Bhutto and other party officials from the central and provincial levels.
