An earthquake shakes Sibi and the surrounding areas.

In a panic, people emerged from their houses and began chanting passages from the Quran. There were no reports of fatalities or property damage from the earthquake in any area of Sibi. Rescue organisations and the local government are keeping a careful eye on the situation.

The National Seismic Monitoring Centre in Islamabad reports that the earthquake’s epicentre was 15 kilometres deep and 40 km southwest of Sibi.
