Barrister Gohar Ali claims that PTI’s discourse has never been anti-state.

Barrister Gohar Ali, the chairman of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), emphasized on Saturday that the party’s position has never been and will never be against the state and that national defense is its first concern.
The PTI chairman, who had always hoped for fewer conflicts and better ties between institutions and political stakeholders, told the media that he was disappointed by recent remarks made during a news conference. “It is regrettable when political leaders and state institutions accuse one another of being mentally ill or dangerous,” he said.
Barrister Gohar Ali emphasized that everyone owns Pakistan and that the armed forces are treated with equal respect. “We own the army and Pakistan.” We’ve shown this in action and we’ll keep doing it,” he stated. He exhorted everyone to be accepting of one another, make room, and end the ongoing lack of trust.
He urged all democratic forces to play their part in reducing tensions and called for moderation and reconciliation. He declared, “This is the time to move forward through dialogue, not confrontation.”
The PTI chairman further highlighted the part played by those who have exacerbated the conflict between the party and government institutions even though they are not stakeholders. He stated that Bushra Bibi and the PTI’s founder are presently incarcerated and that having discussions with them could ease the situation.
Barrister Gohar cautioned, “The country cannot afford further tension and chaos,” and urged all parties to put stability and national unity first.
