Khawaja Asif advises PTI to steer clear of the narrative of terrorism

The leadership of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and its foreign-based members, according to Defense Minister Khawaja Asif, are using derogatory language while disregarding the sacrifices made by the armed personnel and martyrs.

Speaking to the Sialkot media, he claimed that the PTI leadership’s post-general election stance goes against political decorum.

He claimed that although military personnel have given their life for the nation, the PTI leadership does not even recognize these sacrifices.

According to the defense minister, the PTI should not embrace the narrative of terrorists, refrain from being forgiving of the Taliban, and cease expressing compassion or making concessions for them.

They are free to engage in politics or protest, but they must not have the audacity to question Pakistan’s territory, honor, or dignity.

In the meantime, a number of PTI officials were placed on the Exit Control List (ECL) by the federal government for inciting political instability in the nation.

Sources claim that PTI founder Imran Khan and other suspects in the May 9 riots will face harsh punishment.

Imran Khan, Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Omar Ayub, Fawad Chaudhry, and Shibli Faraz are among those on the list.

Ali Amin Gandapur, Shehryar Afridi, Usman Dar, Shireen Mazari, Zartaj Gul, Musarrat Cheema, Kanwal Shauzab, Sheikh Rashid, Major (R) Tahir Sadiq, Raja Basharat, and Wasiq Qayyum Abbasi are among the other leaders who have also been banned from travel.
