PTI sit-in near Adiala Jail is ended by a police crackdown.

Aleema Khan led a sit-in with party workers after police blocked PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar and the founder’s sisters from visiting PTI founder Imran Khan at the Factory Naka on Tuesday. Many PTI supporters gathered at the location and screamed anti-government chants in defiance of police barricades.
Aleema urged supporters to maintain composure while addressing the audience, emphasizing that the cops were “our brothers” and were under duress. She said that the presence of women in the protest was the reason for the police response.
Aleema called the prolonged denial of visits to the PTI founder’s family by the authorities “mental torture.”
She stated that the family had been trying to arrange a meeting for more than a month and emphasized that their most recent meeting had solely addressed issues with officials’ actions rather than politics.
She wanted clarification on her brother’s purported solitary detention and the authority behind it, questioning why he was being viewed as a threat to national security.
Five protestors’ automobiles were reportedly returned by the police, but the leadership of the sit-in insisted that all vehicles be returned in order to put a stop to the demonstration during the negotiations. Fourteen PTI Khyber Pakhtunkhwa-owned government and private vehicles were confiscated by the police and taken to the police station.
