Nida Yasir apologizes for her comments about delivery boys.

After receiving a lot of backlash for her remarks regarding food delivery riders, morning program host Nida Yasir has publicly apologized, stating that she is “a human, not an angel.”
“My mistake was choosing the wrong words,” the TV personality clarified. Such blunders might occur in casual conversation.
She emphasized that she had no intention of hurting anyone and that she sincerely apologized for any offense her comments may have caused.
What caused the controversy?
Nida asserted that some riders purposefully avoid bringing change in order to “swindle” extra money from consumers during a live conversation regarding home delivery services.
She had stated, “The food-delivery riders would never have the change.” She continued, offering it as her method of “teaching them a lesson.” “You can tip them, of course, but for those who lie about not having the change, I make them wait while my driver fetches it,” she said.
Many delivery workers were incensed by her remarks, and viewers harshly criticized her online for allegedly being inconsiderate to low-wage gig workers who are struggling to make ends meet.
Others contended that her comprehension was incorrect because delivery applications already request that users prepare the precise amount prior to the rider’s arrival.
In response to days of criticism, Nida stated that she never intended to attack the entire riding community.
She pointed out that since the discussion was live, errors cannot be instantly fixed or explained.
According to Nida, she ought to have made it apparent that she was speaking of “some riders,” not all of them. “I show up on TV exactly as I am. Like everyone else, I have feelings. I am a person, not an angel, and occasionally we are unable to express our emotions, which leads to conflicting interpretations,” she clarified.
She apologized sincerely, speaking directly to the motorcyclists.
“Once more, not all riders are like the ones I mentioned. It was only my experience. I never intended to offend them or minimize their hardships. I apologize for my error,” she stated.
