Seven houses in Jareed village are completely destroyed by the Kaghan Valley fire.

Seven private residences in Jareed, a community in the picturesque Kaghan Valley, were reduced to ashes by a terrible fire that left families with losses of millions of dollars.

Details show that the fire started for no apparent reason, swiftly spread throughout the wooden buildings, and reduced the dwellings to ashes.

In just a few minutes, the fire had spread throughout the houses, according to witnesses, and residents hardly had time to get their possessions back.

Using human chains and whatever few tools they had, the villagers started a self-help rescue operation to put out the fire right away. However, because of the fire’s ferocity and the amount of smoke, the endeavor proved to be extremely challenging.

According to locals, everything inside the homes, including food, livestock, and household goods, was totally destroyed, costing the impacted families their entire life savings. The victims’ level of shock and suffering has grown due to the projected millions of rupees in financial losses.

Hours passed before the residents were able to partially confine the fire because the fire department could not immediately reach the distant area. Locals have called on the district administration to act quickly to alleviate the situation and give the impacted households interim housing and compensation.

While emergency crews are sent to the area to evaluate more damage, authorities are anticipated to investigate the cause of the incident. The community is grieving over the tragedy and is finding it difficult to move past the unanticipated catastrophe.
