In Punjab, KP, dense fog causes traffic jams on the highways.

During the night of Friday and Saturday, dense fog once more covered portions of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, immobilizing daily activities and causing traffic jams on motorways because of poor visibility.
Road traffic flow has been severely impacted by the dense fog in a number of Punjabi and KPian cities. A Motorway spokeswoman stated that all traffic has been prohibited from using the following motorways: M1 from Peshawar to Rashakai, M2 from Lahore to Kot Momin, M3 from Faizpur to Rajana, M5 from Multan to Zahir Pir, and M11 from Lahore to Sialkot.
Drivers have been urged by the motorway police to travel on Grand Trunk (GT) Road. Additionally, they have advised vehicles to turn on fog lights and drive more slowly.
Additionally, the Motorway police have asked everyone to stay at home and refrain from needless travel. Due to poor visibility, dense fog has also caused traffic disruptions on the National Highway at a number of locations throughout the province.
