A blast at Shikarpur partially destroyed a railway track.

Details indicate that the explosion happened shortly after a train passed the track. After receiving information, police and a bomb disposal unit arrived at the location.

Following the explosion, SSP Shahzaib Chachar also arrived at the location. The train track is safe and the railway line is still available for traffic, he said, despite the explosion.

Shahzaib Chachar added that security in the area has been heightened because of a possible threat, and that preliminary indications indicate that the explosion’s intensity was minimal.
