In Balochistan, every political party wants a delay. LG surveys: Bugti

Mir Sarfaraz Bugti, the chief minister of Balochistan, stated on Tuesday that all political parties want the province’s local government (LG) elections to be postponed.
Sarfaraz Bugti told the reporters in Quetta, the provincial capital, that the province is experiencing drought and that he has no control over the rain.

He said that a climate change program had been held in Islamabad and that Balochistan is more severely affected by climate change. He claimed that despite scarce resources, a climate fund has been formed and that natural calamities are not exclusive to provinces.

According to CM Bugti, there has been a noticeable decline in the province’s terrorist rate. He continued by saying that the court has already halted Quetta’s local government elections. He added that all political parties asked the governor to postpone the local government elections and questioned which elections have an eight-month period.

“Which government wants to kill innocent people?” declared the Chief Minister. The establishment of the government’s writ is the state’s responsibility. In just one year, 700 terrorists had been murdered in Baloshistan, he continued.
