After being bitten by a stray dog in Karachi, a girl dies from rabies.

The girl got rabies after being bitten by a stray dog a while back. The anti-rabies vaccine had only been administered to her once. Doctors said that because she did not receive prompt and comprehensive care, her life could not be saved.

The girl in question lived in Karachi’s Orangi Town.

Eight rabies-related deaths have been documented so far this year, according to the management of Indus Hospital. At Indus Hospital, about 16,000 animal bite cases are reported each year.
