Bondi shooting: Tarar condemns the “hostile countries”‘ disinformation effort against Pakistan

Following the Bondi Beach massacre in Australia, Federal Minister for Information Ataullah Tarar has vehemently denounced the misleading media campaign that targets Pakistan.

Speaking to international media, he described the incident on December 14 as “very sad and highly condemnable” and conveyed Pakistan’s support for the Australian people and administration.

Tarar emphasized that an intentional disinformation campaign by adversarial nations asserted, without proof, that one of the terrorists was from Lahore. The minister explained that once the suspect’s passport was verified by Philippine officials, Indian authorities subsequently confirmed that he was from Hyderabad, India.
Recalling the Army Public School tragedy in Peshawar, he emphasized that Pakistan, a longtime victim of terrorism, is aware of the suffering caused by such assaults.expert inquiry without drawing hasty judgments.
