Section 144 in the twin cities has been extended till December 24 by the District Administration of Rawalpindi and the Islamabad Capital Territory administration.

Hasan Waqar Cheema, Deputy Commissioner Rawalpindi, has also released a notification in this regard, stating that public meetings, processions, and demonstrations are strictly prohibited.

The warning also prohibits the use of loudspeakers and prohibits gatherings of more than four persons.
