FIA prevents the Karachi Municipal Commissioner from going overseas.

When Afzal Zaidi’s name was discovered on the stop list, the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Immigration prevented him from traveling overseas and removed him from a flight to Turkey.

Late Friday night, Afzal Zaidi was supposed to board a Turkish Airlines flight from Karachi to Istanbul. However, because he was on the stop list, immigration counter employees refused to let him go and removed him from the aircraft.

According to sources, immigration officials told him that he could not travel overseas as long as his name was on the list and advised him to get his name taken off the list or get court approval before trying to fly abroad.

According to additional sources, scores of cops have been put on a special watch list because of a variety of accusations.
