In the U-19 Asia Cup Final, which is being played at the ICC Academy in Dubai, Pakistan’s Sameer Minhas scored an incredible century against bitter foe India on Sunday.

India won the toss against Pakistan and decided to bowl first.

“An innings of the highest order! On its official Facebook page, the Asian Cricket Council wrote, “Sameer is still going strong and will be looking to bat the full quota to push Pakistan past the magical 300-run mark 💯.”

With 125 runs, Sameer Minhas is at the crease right now.

After defeating Bangladesh by eight wickets in the first semi-final, the Pakistan Under-19 cricket team guaranteed their spot in the Asia Cup final. India defeated Sri Lanka in the second semifinal to secure the other final spot.

Although they haven’t yet won the Under-19 Asia Cup, Pakistan has won the ICC Under-19 World Cup twice. India and Pakistan split the 2012 Asia Cup championship.

Sameer Minhas, Usman Khan, Ahmed Hussain, Farhan Yousaf (c), Hamza Zahoor (wk), Huzaifa Ahsan, Niqab Shafiq, Mohammad Shayan, Ali Raza, Abdul Subhan, and Mohammad Sayyam make up Pakistan’s starting lineup.

India: Deepesh Devendran, Kishan Singh, Khilan Patel, Henil Patel, Aaron George, Vihaan Malhotra, Vedant Trivedi, Abhigyan Kundu (wk), Ayush Mhatre (c), and Vaibhav Suryavanshi.
