The governor praises the role of youth in nation-building as the Sindh Scouts celebrate 100 years of service.

Sindh Governor and Patron-in-Chief Kamran Khan Tessori was the chief guest at the Sindh Scouts’ centenary celebrations, which commemorated the organization’s 100 years of contributions to national service, discipline, and patriotism.

According to a news release on Friday, Syed Akhtar Mir, senior Scout leaders, and Provincial Commissioner Justice (retd) Hasan Feroz welcomed him with open arms upon his arrival.

Speaking at the event, Governor Kamran Tessori praised the Sindh Scouts’ leadership and organisers, calling it more than just the end of a jamboree. According to him, it represented a century of commitment, selflessness, and national service.

He said that character, not infrastructure, is what builds nations, and that the Scouts are essential in helping young people develop strong moral principles, discipline, and patriotism. In order to effectively handle issues in the future, he urged young people to arm themselves with contemporary skills, such as an understanding of artificial intelligence.

The governor claimed that the entire country was proud of Pakistan’s military’s victory against the enemy on May 10. He went on to say that prominent international newspapers were praising Pakistan’s foreign policy and national direction, putting the nation in the public eye.

He credited Field Marshal General Asim Munir’s strategic vision for this accomplishment, which he claimed enhanced Pakistan’s reputation abroad.

Additionally, Governor Sindh stated that programs like IT education, laptop, motorcycle, and ration distribution, which were started from the Governor’s House, would continue to empower young people and encourage independence.

The audience enthusiastically embraced the Scout boys’ presentation of a tableau, an anthem in the Hunza language, and a Rajasthani song.

The Governor presented Scouts with shields and awards for exceptional achievement as the ceremony came to a close.
