Rahim Yar Khan, UAE President, meets with PM Shehbaz

Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the president of the United Arab Emirates, met Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Tuesday in Rahim Yar Khan.
Senior officials, including Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, Minister for Information Atta Tarar, and Special Assistant Tariq Fatemi, attended the high-profile meeting at Sheikh Zayed Palace.
In a statement released by the Prime Minister’s Secretariat, the leaders reflected on their December 26 meeting in Islamabad and engaged in discussions in a warm and welcoming environment. PM. Shehbaz Sharif emphasized that Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates must significantly expand their bilateral trade.

Mutual cooperation in a variety of fields, such as information technology, energy, mining, and defense, was discussed. The statement emphasized that the two leaders discussed how to improve relationships and look into ways to work together in these important areas.
PM Shehbaz thanked the UAE for hosting more than 2.1 million Pakistanis and praised the country’s outstanding progress. Strong ties between the two nations are fostered in large part by the Pakistani population in the United Arab Emirates, he said.
