The first winter rain is welcomed by Karachiites.

On Tuesday, light to heavy rain was recorded in several parts of Karachi, marking the city’s first winter rainfall and a welcome shift in the weather.
In Karachi, Ziauddin Ahmed Road, Sultanabad, PIDC, I.I. Chundrigar Road, and Civil Lines all had a lot of rain. A heavy downpour also fell over Shahrah-e-Faisal, Tariq Road, Saddar, Soldier Bazaar, Jamshed Quarters, and the neighboring localities. Additionally, Orangi Town, Metroville, and SITE Area reported light to moderate rains.
According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), Karachi may see some light rain during the course of the following day. According to the Met Office, light showers and sporadic drizzle might persist, which could cause the temperature to drop even further.
The rain was welcomed by the locals, who described it as pleasant and refreshing.
At the same time, officials have been instructed to maintain safety protocols and be ready to deal with any potential weather-related emergencies.
