446 lawmakers are warned by ECP about asset statement delays.

446 members of Parliament and Provincial Assemblies have received a final notice from the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) for failing to submit their yearly financial statements by the year-end deadline.

26 senators, 125 members of the National Assembly, 159 members of the Punjab Assembly, 62 members of the Sindh Assembly, 48 members of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly, and 26 members of the Balochistan Assembly have all received notices, the Commission said.

The Commission reports that 26 senators, including Talha Mahmood, Faisal Saleem, Quddus Bizenjo, and Aimal Wali, have not yet submitted their comments.

Amir Muqam, Tariq Fazal Chaudhry, Sheikh Aftab Ahmed, Aqeel Malik, and Muhammad Sana Ullah Khan are among the 125 members of the National Assembly who are still not in compliance. Syed Mustufa Kamal, Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, Mahreen Razzaq Bhutto, Ramesh Kumar Vankwani, Sardar Muhammad Latif Khan Khosa, Attaullah Tarar, Sardar Awais Ahmed Khan Laghari, and Masti Khel.

According to Section 137(3) of the Elections Act, 2017, the ECP declared that members of the Senate, National Assembly, and provincial assembly of Punjab, Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Balochistan who do not comply will have their membership suspended on January 16, 2026.
