Punjab starts a competition for wheat yield in 2025–26.

The Punjab government, following the specific orders of Chief Minister Punjab, has started the Wheat Yield Competition 2025–26 across the province. The best victors will get a lot of cash and tractors.

At the provincial level, the following prizes will be given to the winners: The first place award is a tractor with 85 horsepower, the second place prize is a tractor with 75 horsepower, and the third place prize is a tractor with 60 horsepower.

The cash rewards at the district level are as follows: The first reward is Rs. 1,000,000, the second prize is Rs. 800,000, and the third prize is Rs. 500,000.

Farmers who own at least 5 acres of land can enter the contest. You can get application forms from the offices of the Assistant Director Agriculture (Extension) and Agriculture Officer (Extension) in their tehsils, or you can download them from the official website of the Agriculture Department Punjab at www.agripunjab.gov.pk. You can also send in photocopies of the application form.

Restrictions on who can participate: Members of the National and Provincial Assemblies, Senators, their family members, government officials of grade 17 and above, Punjab Agriculture Department personnel, and progressive farmers who are part of divisional or district committees are not eligible.
