The PTI era caused Gwadar’s development to stall: Iqbal Ahsan

According  Federal Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal stated on Friday that the Gwadar development phase was halted while the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) was in power.

Speaking at a ceremony to promote the blue economy, Ahsan Iqbal said that under the PTI era, Balochistan’s law and order situation declined. He declared that peace will be restored in Balochistan and that the Gwadar development phase would restart.

He noted that a project pertaining to Gadani has also been included in the federal government’s development budget, which is being used to carry out the Karachi Shipyard project.
