Maryam Nawaz endorses biogas facilities and a waste-to-energy initiative in Lahore.

Chief Minister of Punjab, Maryam Nawaz, approved the creation of six biogas plants.
In a meeting on sustainable energy presided over by Maryam Nawaz in the provincial capital, a resolution was made to initiate a waste-to-energy project in Lahore. She additionally sanctioned the incorporation of three experimental biogas plant initiatives inside the Model Village Programme.
During the event, the Chief Minister requested a feasible strategy for small biogas facilities and asserted that Punjab has surpassed others in the clean energy sector.
She stated that biogas facilities would provide bio-fertilizer for agriculture and economical gas for residential consumption, while the waste-to-energy initiative would deliver inexpensive electricity for electric buses and the metro bus system.
