Temperatures in Karachi dip to single digits.

The temperature in Karachi fell to single digits, with a minimum of 9.5 °C recorded, as a cold wave persists, according to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) on Saturday.

The persistent cold weather is anticipated to last for an additional two days in Karachi and other regions of Sindh.

The maximum temperature is expected to rise to between 24 and 26 degrees Celsius today, with a humidity level of 58%, according to the Met Office.

The minimum temperatures recorded in Sindh were 3°C in Mithi and Mohen Jo Darro, 5°C in Sukkur and Nawabshah, 6°C in Dadu, 7°C in Hyderabad, and 9°C in Karachi and Thatta.

The Met Office previously forecast a severe cold wave in the region, with temperatures possibly plunging to single digits.

Intense cold weather persists in the majority of the nation.
