On Thursday, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar conferred with Sun Haiyan, Vice Minister of the International Department of the Communist Party of China.

The Foreign Office official stated that both parties discussed bilateral relations, the regional context, and other areas of shared interest.

The Deputy Prime Minister acknowledged the Communist Party of China’s contribution to enhancing Pakistan–China relations, and both parties concurred on sustaining the momentum of high-level interactions.

A spokeswoman for the Foreign Office stated that both parties concurred on enhancing party-to-party collaboration and advancing bilateral relations.

The forum emphasised the significance of broadening cultural collaboration and improving interpersonal encounters, encompassing academic connections, youth engagement, and cultural activities to promote deeper mutual comprehension.
