The Islamabad court mandates the apprehension of Imaan Mazari and Hadi Ali Chatha within 24 hours.

A district and session court has mandated the authorities to apprehend Imaan Mazar and her spouse Hadi Ali Chatha, and present them before the court within 24 hours for their failure to attend a hearing in the contentious tweets case.
During the hearing, Islamabad Police DIG Javed Tariq presented himself before the court, where Judge Afzal Majoka questioned the failure to execute the arrest warrants.
The judge stated that the authorities must act irrespective of the suspects’ whereabouts, be it Pakistan, India, or Afghanistan. The judge issued a stringent directive for the execution of the warrants, stating that failure to comply would result in contempt of court proceedings.
The DIG guaranteed the court that the warrants would be executed. The court subsequently declared a recess, cautioning that noncompliance with the orders could lead to contempt proceedings.
At the commencement of the hearing, the court invited the Deputy Inspector General and the Director of the Federal Investigation Agency to elucidate the absence of Imaan Mazari and Hadi Ali Chatha in court.
Judge Majoka questioned their location and admonished the police for failing to execute the arrest warrants.
The court meticulously acknowledged the situation and called the DIG Operations and the FIA Director to appear personally.
The sessions court subsequently granted officials 24 hours to apprehend Mazari and her spouse in the matter.
