The daughter of Bushra Bibi has petitioned the Lahore High Court for authorization to visit her mother in Adiala Jail.

Mubashra Khawar Maneka submitted a plea via Advocate Asif Niswana, the head of the Lahore High Court Bar. The petitioner identified the Punjab government, the Superintendent of Adiala Jail, and others as respondents.

The petitioner asserted that Bushra Bibi is presently incarcerated at Adiala Jail. She is the daughter of Bushra Bibi. Per prison regulations, she is entitled to visit her mother.

The petitioner stated that family meeting days occur every Tuesday; nevertheless, the Superintendent of Adiala Jail has consistently denied permission to contact her mother despite numerous requests.

The petitioner sought a court order compelling the Superintendent of Adiala Jail to facilitate an emergency contact with her mother.
