Talal Chaudhry cautions that more stringent measures would be implemented than those on November 26 if the PTI incites disorder.

Minister of State for Interior Talal Chaudhry stated that if Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) incites disorder, the response will be more severe than the measures implemented on November 26.
Talal Chaudhry stated that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is confronting significant challenges, including terrorism, health, and education, yet the provincial administration is disregarding its obligations. He stated that the occurrences of November 26 and May 9, coupled with correspondence to the IMF and the persistent dissemination of a narrative that undermines Pakistan—whether mirroring India or Israel, or featuring minor alterations in phrasing from the PTI founder’s Twitter (X) account—are profoundly inappropriate and damaging.
He asserted that such conduct is unbecoming of a political party; yet, the administration is exhibiting moderation. The former prime minister, he stated, consistently articulates views on his Twitter (X) account that, through wordplay, mirror an anti-Pakistan narrative akin to that of India and Israel.
The Minister of State for Interior stated that the accommodations offered to Imran Khan are unparalleled in Pakistan’s history for any inmate. Those who encounter him assert that he is in good health and physically fit, engaging in regular exercise, consuming nutritious food, with a physician available at all hours and attendants present continuously.
He stated that these individuals are the sole disseminators of misinformation regarding their leader—occasionally asserting that he has deceased, and at other times contending that he is not even incarcerated. Such rumors are disseminated every few months, and each instance has been debunked.
In response to an inquiry on the initiation of a military operation without consulting a provincial chief minister, Talal Chaudhry stated that the current operations are conducted under the National Action Plan. He observed that the National Action Plan was initially established during Nawaz Sharif’s administration and subsequently during Imran Khan’s administration, with the agreement of all provinces and political parties, and it remains in effect today.
He stated that Iran is a fraternal Islamic nation to Pakistan, and Pakistan seeks regional peace through diplomacy to settle difficulties. He stated that approximately 1.4 million Afghan nationals had been repatriated to Afghanistan in various phases, while 1.5 million remain in Pakistan.
Talal Chaudhry stated that visas had been extended for Afghan students in Pakistan who are experiencing medical concerns or are in their last semester. Visa extensions can be obtained lawfully; however, students must also maintain legal residency in Pakistan.
