The Sindh CM directs an urgent investigation into the Gul Plaza fire disaster.

Murad Ali Shah, the chief minister of Sindh, has ordered an immediate investigation into the unfortunate fire that occurred at Gul Plaza in Karachi.

The chief minister gave the Karachi Commissioner instructions to carry out a comprehensive enquiry in order to identify the fire’s cause and provide a comprehensive report. He sent condolences to the impacted families and expressed his profound sadness over the deaths.

Murad Ali Shah further directed that the greatest medical care possible be given to the injured people without any carelessness.

In order to confirm that fire safety laws were being adhered to, he also mandated a thorough examination of Gul Plaza’s fire safety measures. Strict measures will be taken against individuals found to have been negligent or careless during the investigation.

To guarantee that fire safety regulations are strictly enforced, CM Murad has mandated an emergency fire safety audit of all Karachi’s commercial buildings.
