23 parliamentarians are once again members of ECP following asset disclosure.

23 additional lawmakers from the Senate, National Assembly, and provincial assemblies have been reinstated by the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) after submitting their yearly declarations of assets and liabilities for the fiscal year 2024–2025.
Two senators, eleven members of the National Assembly, three representatives from each of the Punjab, Sindh, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa assembly, and one representative from the Balochistan Assembly are among the politicians who have been reinstated, the commission said.
According to Section 137 of the Elections Act of 2017, the lawmakers were suspended on January 16 for not disclosing information by the December 31 deadline. The lawmakers have been given permission to return to their legislative duties now that the papers are complete.
Due to their failure to complete their wealth declarations, 159 members had their membership suspended by the Election Commission. Following the submission of the declarations, the 113 members were reinstated.
The 46 members’ membership is still suspended, according to the Election Commission of Pakistan, because they have not filed their yearly statements of assets and liabilities for the fiscal year 2024–2025.
